Dr. Sophie Xuefei Wang is an associate professor with tenure at the Center for Human Capital and Labor Market Research at Central University of Finance and Economics. She got her Ph.D. in Economics at Simon Fraser University in Canada in 2012. Dr. Wang's research has focused on development economics, labor economics and industrial organization. Her works have been published in peer-reviewed journals, such as, China Economics Review, Review of Development Economics, Economic Modelling and the B.E. Journal of Economic Analysis & Policy. Dr. Wang has served as referee for academic journals, such as, Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Development Studies, World Development, China Economic Review, Feminist Economics, Cities, Emerging Markets Finance and Trade, etc.
