Assistant Professor Position in the Center for Human Capital and Labor Market Research


The Center for Human Capital and Labor Market Research (CHLR) at the Central University of Finance and Economics invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor position, starting Fall 2025. We seek candidates in Labor Economics with a focus on human capital research. Applicants should have, or expect to have, a Ph.D. in Economics by October 31, 2025.

CHLR’s flagship initiative, the “Human Capital Measurement Study,” serves as the foundation for the annual China Human Capital Report series (2009–2024). In addition to strong research and teaching expertise, the ideal candidate must contribute to this project by managing its execution, supervising the student team, and coordinating faculty research efforts.
