The 15th International Symposium on Human Capital and Labor Markets, hosted by the China Center for Human Capital and Labor Market Research (CHLR), Central University of Finance and Economics, is now accepting submissions for its PhD Student Session.
Event Details
· Date: December 8-10, 2023
· Venue: China Center for Human Capital and Labor Market Research (CHLR), Central University of Finance and Economics, Beijing, China
· This symposium will mark the release of the “China Human Capital Report 2023” in both Chinese and English. We invite original academic papers related to human capital and the labor market for discussions in parallel chambers. Additionally, a dedicated graduate conference will provide PhD students, both domestic and international, a platform to present their research.
· We prefer in-person sessions, but there will also be online sessions to accommodate presenters who are unable to join in person.
Paper Submission
· Eligibility: PhD students
· Topic: Papers related to skill, labor force, human capital, health, and aging
· Submission Deadline: November 8, 2023 (Beijing Time, GMT+8)
· Submission Email: chlr_phdsession@163.com. The email topic is “Submission: Name+School+Phd session”.
· Submission Content: Extended abstract (400-500 words in English) including author’s name, presenter’s name, mobile phone number, and email address.
· All papers accepted for presentation must be submitted to the conference by December 1, 2023 (Beijing Time, GMT+8) so that discussants will have enough time to prepare comments.
Important Dates

· November 20: Notification of decision
· December 1: Registration deadline
