Memorial Session and Roundtable in Honor of Professor Belton Fleisher

Call for Papers and Participation

The Chinese Economists Society (CES) North America Conference will be held in Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia, on March 28–29, 2026.

We are organizing a memorial session and a roundtable discussion in honor of the late Professor Belton Fleisher, to recognize his profound contributions China Economic Review, to the economics profession and to the study of the Chinese economy. See CES Announcements

We invite submissions from scholars interested in presenting papers aligned with Belton Fleisher’s research areas.

In addition, we warmly invite colleagues, students, and friends to participate in a roundtable discussion reflecting on Belton Fleisher’s life, academic legacy, and contributions to economics and Chinese economic studies. Participants who wish to speak at the roundtable are encouraged to sign up via email.
