Celebrating Release of the China Human Capital Report 2013

We invite submission of papers. Topics dealing with the broad areas of human capital and labor marketsare all welcome. Abstracts (250 words) must be submitted no later than November 10, 2013 to the site: http://humancapital.cufe.edu.cn/en1/baoming.html.

The one-day conference will feature the release of the fifth annual China Human Capital Report-2013. We plan to arrange keynote speeches by Nobel Laureates and government officials in the morning, followed by parallel sessions of presentation and discussion of original research papers in the afternoon.

Submitted papers will be evaluated by the Organizing Committee.Presenters will be notified by November 15, 2013.

Presenters will be provided with two nights’ hotel accommodation in Beijing (December 14 and 15) and meals during the Conference. Selected international presenters will be reimbursed up to US$1,000 subject to budgetary limitations. The decision on the trip subsidy will be announced by November 20.

All papers accepted for presentation must be submitted to the conference by December 1 so that discussants have sufficient time to prepare. Papers presented will, upon submission for publication, be considered under the normal review process for inclusion in a Symposium that will be published in a regular issue of China Economic Review.
