The conference will feature the release of the seventh annual China Human Capital Report-2015, and parallel academic sessions. We invite submission of papers. Topics dealing with the broad areas of human capital and labor markets are all welcome. To be considered for the Conference, adetailed abstract (400-500 words) must be submitted no later than October 15, 2015 to the website:

Presenters will be provided with two nights’ accommodation and meals during the Conference. Junior faculty (within 5 years of receiving PhD, and certified by their institution) and PhD candidates (i.e., have passed comprehensive examinations and certified by their office of graduate studies) may apply for international travel subsidy for ½ of the airfare up to US $700, subject to budgetary limitations. Announcement of submissions accepted for the Conference and the decision on the trip subsidy will be announced by October 15 and November 1, respectively.

All submitted papers will be considered for presentation at the Conference and, if submitted for publication, inclusion in the Human Capital and Labor Market Issue of China Economic Review. Papers submitted for publication will be subject to China Economic Review’s standard double-blind review process.
