	Carl Lin is an assistant professor at Beijing Normal University
and a research fellow at IZA (Institute for the Study of Labor). His
research is in the areas of labor economics and applied econometrics in which
he focuses on immigration, minimum wages and Chinese economy. He graduated from the Department of
Economics at National Taiwan University, received a master's degree from
Georgetown University in 2006 and his PhD in Economics from Rutgers University
in 2011. He has published in Economics Letters, Review of International
Economics, and the Singapore Economic Review.
