Subject to budget approval, the CHLR wishes to
hire a senior economist with an established record in teaching and research in
fields related to its major mission. Besides teaching graduate courses (in
English), faculty members are also expected to participate in committee work,
advise graduate students, and mentor junior faculty. Salary is competitive and
includes housing subsidy.
Chinese language is not a requirement. The
position may be particularly attractive to faculty who currently hold Emeritus
status in their home institutions. Applications are welcomed from academics in
