Celebrating Release of the China Human Capital Report 2017

The conference will feature the release of the ninth annual China Human Capital Report-2017 and parallel academic sessions on December 9, preceded by reception and dinner for all attendees on December 8. Nowwe invite submission of papers. Topics dealing with broad areas of human capital and labor markets are all welcome. To be considered for the Conference, a detailed abstract (400-500 words) of paper must be submitted no later than September 30, 2017 to the website

Presenters will be provided with accommodation of two nights and meals during the Conference. Junior faculty (within 5 years of receiving PhD, and certified by their institution) and PhD candidates (i.e., have passed comprehensive examinations and certified by their office of graduate studies) may apply for international travel subsidy for ½ of the airfare up to US $500, subject to budgetary limitations. Submissions accepted for the Conference and the decision on the trip subsidy will be announced by October 15 and November 1, respectively.
